I found L4Dead 2 running under Mac Osx using a wine cider port.
Anyone wants to know more post me I will explain step by step

CXZEngines ( this is a additional Graphic package to Support the wine cider port.)
Thats it you are ready to Play.
If you want to play lan with your friends, it fully works. Mac to mac and mac to windows.
You can extract the WIndows Version out of you own L4Dead file ( Click on
show package contant click on
root,
windows, then copy L4D 2 folder to ur windows friend.
Now for lan connection, open Hamachi, create a new network then ( Hamachi for mac

start the game and hit ~ to open console then type
hostname (your game name)
sv_consistency 0
net_start
map c1m1_hotel campaign
you can put any map and any game mode you want
